"Check in" on this blog - August 2026 Update

 Hey! Hi! Sorry for not posting on this spot for a while now, I've been dealing with personal life and... Procrastinating on work.. Well, I'll be honest about that.

For starters, I have changed the appearance of this blog, in case someone didn't catch it.

This is very buggy, since this was archived (didn't expect that).

I'm guessing it should..

Regardless, I've also created much more stuff outside of my Second Chance A.U.

At this point, it sounds like I'm making excuses and an empty promise, but I get easily distracted and I've stumped myself on my writing drafts (AGAIN.. This is not the first time).

So, to give you some appetizers while I'm trying to figure out how to finish my work that I'll be satisfied with, here's a few art pieces I've made.

This is actually a fanart for a Coraline project that I really enjoy, made by SH ART ANIMATION. This is a redraw of the recent episode, and my favourite section of the episode. I won't spoil much, but you should definitely check out in your spare time. Though, be warned, the first few episodes don't really find their footing until much later.

Yes, I made a third A.U, but this one will only be used to find an art-style and formula with comic-making, so this will be very short lived.

Only two stories have been written for this A.U, and they're pretty short.

I also drew this on MS Paint 'cause I got nostalgic for those old MS Paint speed-paints I used to watch in the early 2010s---and frankly I don't like the Windows 11 version.

I do have a lot of other projects Non-Coraline related (specifically one that I'm excited to work on next) that are currently shelved, but I'm not going to present them since... That's not what you're here for, I'm assuming.

If you are interested, I'll make a follow-up post to regarding that.

On a tangent, I was planning to code an entire theme for myself on this blog, but I couldn't understand the coding. B.T.W. I know coding, hello! I only know basic HTML and CSS, nothing fancy. I don't know Javascript, that's wayy too advanced for me. Maybe one day I'll scrounge it and use it in the future. No promises though.

One more thing before I depart, I made a video on my Youtube talking about a Coraline 2 and my opinions on why it wouldn't work.

I recommend you go check it out, and I have another video idea in the works, but I'm not going to spoil that just yet.

Alright alright, I think I've filled you all in on what's been happening recently. I've been busy with other things, and I've soft-locked myself from writing the next few chapters of my Second Chance A.U.

Art Dump and info -- May 2026

Oops. I haven't updated here for a bit. Sorry to whomever is reading this!

Anyway I have another batch of sketches regarding my Second Chance A.U.

These first two are sketches based off of an unofficial writing draft I've been working on since this A.U. was created. In this context, I was writing a Halloween-themed story that explores Livia's old habits. Eh.. Sorta. I stopped working on it in September and forgot about it until later in the few months. The plot sorta dragged to a different direction, but it still discusses her habits.

Here's another sketch of two of my A.U's of the same character interacting each other.

This was more poking fun at me trying to write Livia with complex issues that makes the reader feel sorry for her.

That or I've looked at it for too long and haven't really taken in the situation I've put her in.

Regardless, I made fun of myself for not being a good writer---not in a belittling way, more-so like: Too much is going on in your mind you're barely putting them on the page. We've all been there!

On another note similar to this, I asked one of my good acquaintances to draw Livia for me (if they wanted to, that is). Good news, it has been received!

I guess you could say this is the first fanart regarding this A.U.

You know, I've wondered about giving people requests to draw my A.U, but I never bothered to ask. I don't want to come off as nosy, you know? Besides, it's an A.U. that I barely shared any information regarding the official plot, and that makes me think that I'm faking it.

I know of course that this isn't true, but I can't help but wonder.

Second Chance A.U. Update & Plans!

Sorry to keep you in the dark for a while relating to the Second Chance A.U, but progress is being made. Chapters are being written, and ideas are being strung together! I'm sorry that it's taking a while, but I want to give this A.U. some breathing room to grow and really tell a story.

I can tell you what is going to be planned for this A.U. It will consist of 25 chapters in total, and they will all be comic panels. I was thinking about having it as a written story only, but writing stories by themselves aren't my strong-suit (especially for descriptions, those I can't do). I was also thinking about making a soundtrack at some point relating to this A.U, but I think it's best to have it when the story is over and I have more time to really experiment.

I have also planned to have fillers between chapters, so that might happen. I would make one right now, but it's far too early in the story to really make something out of it.

Another thing I've been making is reference sheets, and I have one ready. There'll be a few references that'll pop up as the story progresses, so it won't be too sudden and confusing (unlike my other A.U. Fortunately, I'm too small for anyone to notice that mistake).

That's all I have planned for this A.U, and there are a few chapters left I should finish. When it's all set, production shall resume! In the meantime, stay tuned; whoever you are, wherever you are!

The Other Mother Icons [Fan-made]

Been making another project I may or may not keep, which is a server dedicated to appreciating The Other Mother, as a villain and as something more (I don't know that something so it's up to you, really).

You can take and use these as a profile picture to know that you also appreciate The Other Mother, or you just like her (like me)! Or you can tell me which one you like best!

I might use this for my profile picture, but I'm still indecisive.
